Congratulations on your decision to further your education!
The first step to be eligible for the Open Roads Promise is to complete the Pledge by May 22 of your senior year of high school. Students who do not meet the May 22 deadline will not be eligible to receive Open Roads Promise benefits such as scholarships, mentoring opportunities, and internships.
Graduates from participating high schools meeting eligibility criteria will receive a “last dollar” tuition-free scholarship for up to eight (8) semesters or 90 credit hours to Howard College. This scholarship will cover any tuition gap between what classes cost and what Pell grants and/or other federal, state, or institutional aid does not. To learn more about your eligibility criteria and ongoing programmatic support, visit www.openroadspromise.org.
Note: All Open Roads Promise information and updates will be sent to the email you list on your Pledge form. If your contact information changes, let us know by emailing openroads@howardcollege.edu.
The Open Roads Promise can only be used at Howard College; however, completing the Pledge does not commit you to attending Howard College.
